Cape Neddick Lobster Pound

We're finally starting our summer residency at the "Pound" this Monday. It's July fourth weekend, Putin's coming, W is here. What more could we ask for you say??? Well......this will also be the one and only time to see the Blueswing group with the phenomenal Per Hansen and Jon Ross on drums and bass. Jon is touring with Duke Robillard this summer and Per has a regular gig in Boston on Mondays so Peter Black and Jamie Decato will be filling in on bass and drums after this week. So after a hard day of protesting at Walker's Point come on down and have some fun at the Pound with us.

Jamie was actually the second drummer of Neil and the Nightlifes waaaaay back in the 80's (no, we didn't play disco back then). He's literally played with everyone in the Portsmouth seacoast area since then, but we still call him "The Kid". Peter, of course, is the current bassist with the Nightlifes. He's also a locally renowned singer-songwriter, bon vivant, and raconteur. So....it's a a tale of two summers this year. Come out Monday and celebrate the past with some rockin' blues masters, and then for the rest of the summer check out the new group for some surprises (we don't even know what these guys are going to do) and a more dancing groove.
