Mariachi Madness

Victor's wedding at Joe Allen was a real party. Every one of the Tequila bottles at the bar was empty on Monday when we got there to play. Congratulations to Victor and Elizabeth. (And to Victor's Mother for making the best Tequila I've ever tasted. I thought it was Patron only smoother).

But the big news was the Mariachi band from Boston that played on our breaks. We got them to play "Tequila" with us and it was a definite career highlight and something to put on the resume! If anyone out there has a picture of it please send it in for the Lex and Joe archives.

Watching the crowd throwing Victor through the air was a little frightening...like a Tequila-crazed Mosh Pit. But a great time was had by all and Per and Jon as usual played very well.

Monday night was a good night as well. The season ain't over yet, folks. So get on down to Joe Allen before Columbus day and celebrate the best time of year in New England....After-tourist season.
